EDI General English Course
We offer General English courses covering all five skills with the primary focus on the students’ communicative and interactive abilities. There is also a strong focus on pronunciation that can make the students more aware of not only how they communicate but also how successfully they communicate.
Ideal for non- native English speaking candidates seeking a high quality, internationally recognised qualification in English. The courses provide students the opportunity to improve and develop all areas of their English language skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
General English course covering all four skills, Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The course is designed to present new vocabulary and language structures and provides opportunities for students to practise and develop their language skills. This course is perfect for students wishing to develop ‘natural’ English as well as increasing their knowledge of the English grammar system.
At the end of the course students sit the EDI exam based on their level.

- Apply language learned in the classroom to real-world situations

- Increase knowledge of Irish life and culture

At the end of the course students can sit the TIE exam.
A2 Elementary Jetset Level 2
A2+ Pre-Intermediate Jetset Level 3
B1 Intermediate Jetset Level 4
B2 Upper Intermediate Jetset Level 5
C1 Advanced Jetset Level 6
Students attend lessons Monday to Thursday 9.30 – 13.30 with a 20-minute coffee break.
Length of Course: 2- 26 weeks
Background Reading: Two hours average per week
